EXPERIENCED DELIVERY METHODS
We tailor the delivery method of a project, or how it will be designed and constructed, to one that best meets the unique needs of each owner and each project. Horus Construction’s team of professionals understands the need to adhere to a realistic budget, an accurate schedule, an efficient design process, thorough risk assessment, and the ability to recognize the level of expertise in which an owner’s organization brings to the table.
One of the most important decisions of an owner is choosing a project delivery method, or how the project will be designed and constructed. The owner must consider many options and variations, including project size, type of project, regulatory complianace, risk, scheduling, and his level of involvement, including his capabilities and resources.
Horus Construction’s typical project delivery methods include:
Design-Build – Architectural and engineering design services are combined with construction under one contract.
Construction Management At Risk (CMAR) – The Construction Manager acts as a consultant to the project owner during the development and design phases of the project. During the construction phase, the CMAR assumes the risk by performance of its General Contracting duties, holding all trade subcontracts during the construction phase.
General Contracting - The general contractor (main contractor, prime contractor) is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of a construction site, management of vendors and trades, and communication of information to the owners and/or involved parties throughout the course of a building project.
